In Lorentz Center@Oort we can welcome 55 persons and @Snellius max. 25 persons.

Both workshop venues have...
- a lecture room with beamer and wide-range angle camera with speaker (Meeting Owl Pro)
- sound and computer (VGA and HDMI)
- rooms for breakout sessions
- additional JABRA speakers for break out rooms
- screens to connect with laptop in the break out rooms (Snellius)
- shared offices to work
- a common room for breaks and relaxing
- a quiet room for baby care or prayer (Oort & Snellius)
- coffee, tea, cookies and fruit throughout the day
- a restaurant for lunches (Snellius building)
- black and white boards
- poster display facilities
- internet, via Eduroam or guest account
- bike rental (with child seat if needed)
Relocation of the Lorentz Center
At the beginning of April 2025, the Lorentz Center will move to 1 location: the 2nd floor of the Snellius building, Niels Bohrweg 1. This is already where our location for the 'smaller workshops' (max 25 people) is located.
Our 'larger' location, for a maximum of 55 people, will therefore from the beginning of April 2025 be housed in the Snellius building. In short: All our workshops will be in the same building and on the same floor.
The names @Oort and @Snellius will be replaced by other names: @Oort will be @omega and @Snellius will be @lambda.
